Instant Whimsy

Grace Tenderstitch has put together some instant whimsy with this Trim Sampler. It includes a crocheted doiley, many feet of white flowered trim, Brown to grey french ribbon, and many feet of brown lace. All of these goodies are gathered together on a shipping tag that has been treated with coffee and vanilla. They are secured with brown wool thread and a picture of a butterfly with a tiny hand did yo-yo. This collection would be great for hanging and displaying in a room of earth colors, or scapbooking accents.

Bernice Fig-Pink

Here is yet another of the Esteemed Fig-Pink family. Bernice has unfortunately had a little argument with her older sister Prunella about what beverage to serve at the Halloween Party for refreshments. Bernice would like the homemade powdered donuts and the caramel apples, but Prunella has only beets on the menu with Pumpkin Wine. Bernice is about 19 inches long, a muslin and fiberfill doll. She is also clothed in muslin and has a pair of checkered underwear. She ha orange painted feet that are accentuated with tiny Pom-Poms. Her face is painted, tea stained and baked. She has black wool hair and her party hat was found in a bag of potpurri. On her dress is a muslin apron with a machine embroidered word: "Leaf."

The Crooked House

This is a 15.5 inch collage canvas, a wall hanging Of a Crooked House for Halloween. It looks pretty neat hanging up as a decoration, but occasionally I hear a cackling voice from that open window. Sometimesas I stand and stare, I hear a raspy voice bid me "Enter." I don't.

Willard the Dove

This is beautiful willard. He is a muslin and fiberfilled Dove that has been coffee dyed, painted and sewn upon. He has a bunch of pins stuck in his tail. The wings are cheesecloth, and he has a beautiful piece of vintage lace around his middle. He is wearing a flower on his head. His body is glued to the spool. He is 8inches by 5 inches.

Herbert the Dragonfly

Herbert is retired from active duty as a fighter pilot for the Dragonflier Free-Folk. He now mostly enjoys long buzzes on the Beach, long drings of Nectar from the Flowers around the Baggaraggs, and good Books. He does still keep up his Pilot's Liscence by flying active patrols on the Baggaragg borders, and assists in their arial Defense. He is 8 inches long and made of muslin, coffee dyed, painted and stitched with wool thread for accent. His wings are collaged with scapbooking and tissue paper over cardboard, and modge podged.

Little Lopper, a Giant Hopper

Little Lopper has joined the garden crew at the Baggaraggs, helping plant the carrots, and the lettuces. She has borrowed a hat that was a favorite of Grace Tenderstitch, which unfortunately shrunk in a rainstorm. it fits Little Lopper perfectly. with her wire flower, Little Lopper is about 12 inches tall.

Big Punzie

My very first Doll for sale is Big Punzie, Chieftess for Peg the Peg Leg Pie-rat. She has her rope for trapeezing through the Forest to sneak into the Baggaraggs. Her Mission will be to try and steal the Thread Pusher.

Big Punzie is a 20 in muslin stuffed RAT, wearing a pieced cotton dress. She has a yellow polka-dot bodice that is Pieced with blue and white polka-dot sleeves. The main part of her dress is blue plaid with white and yellow daisies. She has the yellow and white polka-dot underdrawers. She is wearing her felt Pie-rat hat and has a rope coiled over her shoulder for her trapeeze work through the trees. Her sleeves and underdrawers are finished with ochre colored woollen thread.
